Meet award-winning author Irina Reyn as she visits to discuss her emotional and timely new novel, Mother Country.
Irina Reyn is the award-winning author of Mother Country, an emotionally complex and urgent novel that explores what it means to be a mother in a world where you can’t be with your child. Her other novels include The Imperial Wife and What Happened to Anna K, which was named one of the best books of 2008 by Entertainment Weekly, The San Francisco Chronicle, and The Washington Post and won of the Goldberg Prize for Jewish Fiction from the Foundation for Jewish Culture.
Reyn is also the editor of the anthology Living on the Edge of the World: New Jersey Writers Take on the Garden State. Her fiction and nonfiction has appeared in One Story, Tin House, Ploughshares, Town & Country Travel and Poets & Writers.
