Naturalist Debra Shankland of the Watershed Stewardship Center will share ways that we and others cope with a lack of freshwater.
As severe droughts increase, we can be especially grateful to live next to our wonderful Lake Erie. However, summer can sometimes bring challenging heat and drought to our farms and gardens as well. Naturalist Debra Shankland of the Watershed Stewardship Center in Parma will present snapshots of the water “footprints” of distant lands, and share the often ingenious ways that others cope with a lack of freshwater. Learn about your own water footprint, too!
