Tea connoisseur, Eve Hill, shares her knowledge on different varieties of tea and how to properly enjoy them.
A Tea Snob confesses...and invites you to a conversation! Eve Hill, a former contributing editor at Tea Magazine who has written about tea and teapots, food and fun for magazines, newspapers and books, will be explaining why a teabag dunked in a cup of water does not make acceptable tea. She invites you to sip and explore the beverage most consumed in the world (after water) and learn how one plant can make so many different varieties of tea in so many ways. Tea and nibbles will be provided to enhance the experience.
In addition to speaking at trade and tea events and major museums, Eve was an invited local chef at the annual fabulous Food Show in Cleveland with presentations involving innovative tea menus and recipes. A social historian whose interests include customs and trends in entertaining, Eve has appeared on local and syndicated TV and once made scones and tea for Earl Spencer, Princess Diana's brother, on live television. He asked for the scone recipe and loved the Darjeeling.
