Celebrating a new poetry collection.
Join us to celebrate the publication of Blackbird (Grayson Books), a new collection of poetry by Laura Grace Weldon. These poems explore themes of connection and healing through unusual avenues, like cow pastures, dictionaries, to-do lists, and astrophysics. One reviewer writes, Weldon’s poems “remind us that the miraculous, the heartbreaking, the beautiful are always right in front of us, disguised as the daily messiness of our lives.”
Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the South Euclid-Lyndhurst Branch and books will be available for purchase and signing. A portion of the book’s proceeds will benefit the Medina Raptor Center, dedicated to bird rescue, rehabilitation, and release.
