Casciato LISW-S as she discusses how to handle depression stress and anger in your child. Ms. Casciato will inform you of symptoms how it effects behavior and dos and do nots for parents. Deborah Casciato LISW-S is the Coordinator of Child and Adolescent Outpatient Services from MetroHealth Middleburg Heights November Family Health Center. The program is open to ALL parents and caregivers. Registration requested.

Come join us for fun hands-on activities that let you get close to the action! Be prepared to get in and get messy. Led by volunteers from the American Chemical Society. We invite families to stay and participate. Open to students in Grades 1-6 (first graders must have a caregiver with them). Seventh and eighth graders can come in but it is geared below their age range. Participants must have a parent or caregiver sign a release and hold harmless and model release form available at the information circle beginning September 1.

Camp Magic With Mr. Zap kicks off with a memorable magic show as Mr. Zap performs with ordinary household items and takes you backstage to show you the method behind the magic. Open to kids ages 8 and up Camp Magic With Mr. Zap will meet after school at 4:00 p.m. on the last Thursday of the month (except for December and May which will be on December 14 and May 24 due to school schedules). Mr. Zap a professional magician since 1979 will teach you a variety of magic tricks and how to present them. Everyone who joins will receive a new deck of playing cards. At each meeting snacks will be available plus you'll also get an entry for a chance to win a small magic trick prize. All entry blanks will be entered into the grand prize drawing (to be held at the camp members' May 24 magic show) for a chance to win a magic kit. The more meetings you attend the more chances you'll have to win! Now in its seventh year at the Brook Park Branch Camp Magic With Mr. Zap (formerly the Brook Park Magic Club for Youth) is sponsored by the International Brotherhood of Magicians/Cleveland Area Ring 23 and the Friends of the Brook Park Library.
