Staying close to focused real world experiences as we write helps us to communicate our experiences in powerful ways. In this three-hour class we will learn how to isolate moments from our memories then begin to turn these into compelling pieces of memoir poetry journaling fiction or essay. We will leave with one or two short pieces of writing and a process for continuing to write in a way that connects us to bring our memories to life for ourselves and our readers. Cindy Washabaugh is a writer organizational consultant and creative life coach. She has a BA in Psychology and an MA in Creative Writing and English. For the past 25 years she has developed directed and facilitated creative programs in colleges organizations and in the community.
