Explore your creativity with teaching artist Bernie D'Ettorre. The goal of this eight week watercolor painting workshop is to introduce the complexities of watercolor painting and the necessary steps and techniques to succeed in any two-dimensional art form. The basic structure and design techniques you will learn in these workshops can be utilized in any art medium be it oil pastels or acrylics. Participants will show their finished work at a special exhibit and reception on December 2 at 2:00 PM. The workshops are especially for adults age 55 and over. The workshop series is FREE but registration is required and begins on TUESDAY AUGUST 1 AT 9:00 AM. Interested participants must be able to attend all eight workshops to register for this event. Call 440-885-5362 for more information. Teaching artist Bernie D'Ettorre is a signature member of the Ohio Watercolor Society. She has participated in one-woman shows as well as juried events including winning Best of Show - Lakewood Art League (2010 and 2011) and Best of Show Watercolor - Westlake Art League (2013). Bernie's work has been displayed at many local galleries corporate centers and private collections in Ohio California and England. She has taught watercolor classes at the Beck Center for the Arts in Lakewood and BAYarts in Bay Village. This program is supported in part by the Friends of the Parma Libraries.
