Daniel Levitin visits to discuss his latest book, Successful Aging, which revolutionizes the way we think about our final decades and plan for old age.
Daniel Levitin is a neuroscientist, cognitive psychologist, and bestselling author of This is Your Brain on Music and The Organized Mind. He is Founding Dean of Arts & Humanities at the Minerva Schools at KGI in San Francisco, and Professor Emeritus at McGill University. He has written extensively, both in scientific journals and mainstream press, and has appeared frequently on national media, including The Today Show, Good Morning America, CBS This Morning, Fox News Channel, PBS Newshour, and various NPR shows.
In his newest book Successful Aging, Levitin shares new insights about aging and debunks popular myths about all facets of aging ranging from memory to chronic pain, depression, and more.
