Each month we will "travel" to a different country to learn about their culture and customs. This month we will visit Panama.
If you have something to share from this country please bring it in.
Students should read any non-fiction book about Panama and if they would like a short fiction book about Panama which they can bring to share with the group.
Registration Required. For children in ages 6-14
Cuyahoga County Public Library (CCPL) is interested in demonstrating the effectiveness of its youth programs, but in doing so we want to be respectful of parents’ wishes. We created a Parent Options webpage to inform parents about our efforts to demonstrate the effectiveness of our youth programs, and to offer them opportunity to opt-out if they do not wish for their child to participate in audio/visual recordings and/or surveys. The page also includes a link to the CCPL Release and Hold Harmless form, which parents are required to complete in order for their child to participate in youth programs that could be considered harmful.
The CCPL parent options statement and a link to the Parent-Options webpage should be included in ALL children, school age (grades K-5) and teen (grades 6-12) events where audio/visual recording and/or surveying may take place. To do so, simply copy and paste the following into ATTEND’s LONG DESCRIPTION field:
Participants may be recorded and/or surveyed to capture this program’s effectiveness. Learn more about parent options at www.cuyahogalibrary.org/parent-options.
Please bring the signed form to the program.
