How can we use ideas from nature to design inventions, solve problems and inspire our world? This mini-series of lessons and experiences is designed to get you thinking about innovation in new ways. Like hospitals mimicking the structure of shark skin to repel bacteria or energy-efficient windmill farms inspired by schools of fish, you will examine natural phenomena to explore and inspire innovative ideas in this design approach called Biomimicry. This series is for both Adults and Teens (grades 6 and up). Registration required beginning Monday, December 4th, at 9:00 AM. When you register you are registering for all three sessions - January 10th, 17th, and 24th.
