This series for Adults and Teens (grades 6 and up) uses models from nature to generate new ideas. When you register you are registering for all three sessions - March 15th, 22nd, and 29th.
How can we use ideas from nature to design inventions, solve problems and inspire our world? This mini-series of lessons and experiences is designed to get you thinking about innovation in new ways. Like hospitals mimicking the structure of shark skin to repel bacteria or energy-efficient windmill farms inspired by schools of fish, you will examine natural phenomena to explore and inspire innovative ideas in this design approach called Biomimicry. Registration is closed.
