The legendary Cleveland Browns quarterback will visit to discuss his new book, Learning to Scramble.
Legendary Cleveland Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar will visit to discuss his new book, Learning to Scramble, which chronicles his rise from Youngstown to prominence as the leader of the University of Miami’s first national championship team, and then to glory in the NFL. The book, which also explores Kosar’s personal battles, is a completely authentic account of a talented man’s ability to not only learn from his mistakes, but to evolve and develop new ways of approaching life.
During his career, Kosar led the Cleveland Browns to three AFC Championship games, set a league record by throwing 308 consecutive passes without an interception, and set a record for consecutive playoff games with at least three touchdown passes. He went on to play for the Super Bowl champion Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins before retiring in 1996. Currently, Kosar can be seen on WEWS’s weekly show and can be heard frequently on WTAM.
