A playful approach to open poetic doors. #readwritepoetry
**PARKING also available at Notre Dame College, directly across from the library. Uniformed personnel will be available during library hours to help pedestrians cross South Green Road.**
National Poetry Month takes place in April and so does April Fool’s Day. These two things are not unrelated. Join poet Patrick Culliton for discussion and the creation of poems with a focus on “fooling around” and how this playful approach can open poetic doors. Try your hand at erasure and surrealist poetry, along with surprising group creations.
Patrick Culliton, author of Sam’s Teeth (Subito Press), received his MFA from University of North Carolina Wilmington. After over a decade of teaching writing at the college level, he now works in the Marketing Department for Geauga County Public Library.
