Interested in learning with NASA scientists? Each session we'll explore a different aspect of the interdisciplinary fields in aerospace engineering. The NASA-run series will involve basic intermediate and advanced skills exploring subjects such as aerodynamics orbital mechanics and structural mechanics through various fun and engaging hands-on projects. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about the basics of astronomy piloting an airplane and designing a rocket for space exploration through computer simulations. Release form signed by parent or guardian is required. Participants may be recorded and/or surveyed to capture programs effectiveness. Fiction writers new to the workshop experience will learn how to give and receive comments on your and others' writing in a group setting. We will workshop everyone's writing whether from a previously written work or in-class writing prompts. Workshop attendees are expected to have an email account and to complete reading and writing assignments between meetings. It's important to the workshop process that we create a community of writers who know and trust each other so please commit to attending at least five of the six classes. Space is limited and registration is required. Instructor Eric Anderson has published a novella ISN'T THAT JUST LIKE YOU? and a collection of poems THE PARABLE OF THE ROOM SPINNING. His writing has appeared in THE SUN ARTFUL DODGE and the NORTH AMERICAN REVIEW.

CityMusic Concertmaster Miho Hashizume and principal violist Jonathan Bagg will feature on Mozarts popular Sinfonia Concertante in E-flat Major and the concert closes with Franz Schuberts third symphony.

Zentangle is an easy-to-learn and relaxing method of creating beautiful images from repetitive patterns. In Zentangle you draw each stroke consciously and deliberately. The very act of putting your pen to paper focuses your attention in a way similar to meditation. Far beyond doodles Zentangle is an art form with its own rules and methods.
