Learn to make your own dreamcatcher using simple materials.
Learn to make your own dream catcher, a Native American inspiration. In this class we will use yarn, fabric, and beads to create a dream catcher. This class is all about experimenting and having fun with simple materials. Attendees are welcome to add their own findings, beads, feathers, ribbons to the kits to make their item truly unique to them. This class will be held virtually using Zoom, no download is required. Participants will be contacted by staff with a meeting link to access the class. Materials for this program will be provided by the library for participants to follow along at home.**
10:45am – 11:00am – Facilitators will be available for optional setup, and technical assistance
11:00am-12/12:30pm – Program
Registration and an email address are required to participate. A meeting link will be emailed to registered participants approximately one hour prior to the start of the program. You will need a device with audio and/or video and an internet connection to join. Due to high demand for the program, please contact the library if you can no longer attend a session. This will open a seat to another student on the waitlist.
** Materials for this program are recommended for all participants. These items will be provided free of charge and are all unique from one another. Please specify your preferred branch location for material pick up when registering. A staff member will contact you prior to the event when materials are available. Registration closes a week and a half before the event to ensure delivery of materials.
