Join us on Zoom to talk about THE ONE AND ONLY BOB by Katherine Applegate. Please plan on reading the book before April 22.

Return to the unforgettable world of the Newbery Medal-winning The One and Only Ivan in this incredible sequel, starring Ivan’s friend Bob!  Bob sets out on a dangerous journey to find his long-lost sister with the help of his two best friends, Ivan and Ruby.  As a hurricane approaches and time is running out, Bob finds courage he never knew he had and learns the true meaning of friendship and family.

THE ONE AND ONLY BOB by Katherine Applegate, and published by HarperCollins, is 335 fast pages.  If you wish to draw a picture of a scene from the book to share with fellow book lovers, please prepare that in advance.

This children's book discussion will be held virtually on Zoom (no download required).  Registration and an email are required to receive the link to participate.  A meeting link will be emailed to registered participants approximately one hour before the program starts.  You will need a device and/or video and an internet connection to join.  Staff will be available for help with connecting to Zoom and technical issues beginning 15 minutes before and throughout the duration of the program.

Please specify what grade you are in and your preferred branch location for material pick up when registering.  A copy of the book will be sent to that branch and a staff member there will contact you when the book has arrived.  Make sure to read the book before April 22 so we can all talk about it.
