Empower your child to be safe at home alone or when he or she is caring for little ones. Come to an interactive talk given by Southwest General Health Center’s Sondra Martin, Family Life Instructor, and our Community Nurse Laurie Pfahler, RN. They will discuss how to prevent injury, what to do if injury occurs, and who to call for help. Children will learn about safety and get a taste of the Southwest Safe Sitters Class. Talk is geared to children (ages 8-12), but parents are welcome to attend as well.
