As Vice President of Public Affairs for the Ohio Environmental Council, Emily Bacha leads the organization’s Communications and Field Advocacy Teams. Previously, Emily served as the Director of Communications and Marketing for Western Reserve Land Conservancy, Ohio’s largest land trust focused on the conservation of vibrant natural areas, preservation of working farms, and building of healthier urban environments. Emily serves on the Cleveland Leadership Center Board of Trustees and actively volunteers with College Now Greater Cleveland, Footpath Foundation, and PechaKucha Night Cleveland. She earned her B.S. in Environmental Geography from Ohio University (2010) and Masters of Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia (2012).
