Behavioral interviewing is one of the most effective interviewing techniques. It is the chosen form of interviewing by most employers, includng Cuyahoga County Public Library, and focuses on an objective set of facts to help hiring managers select and hire top performers.
Conducting a behavioral-based interview is a skill that takes training and practice and is one that any individual involved in hiring should have to make sound employment decisions.
Participants in this workshop will learn the importance of proper preparation for an interview, conducting fair and objective interviews, and how to evaluate candidates' experiences, behaviors and competencies to determine their potential success in a new postion.
