Learn the basics and vocabulary for tasting wine. Taught by Sommelier Allison Ritterspach. Wine will not be served.
In this class you will learn the proper way to evaluate wine by sight, smell, and taste. You will also learn some card-carrying characteristics of popular grape varietals so you can more easily identify them. With these tools you can increase your wine vocabulary, better understand what kinds of wine you prefer and why and take your first steps toward blind tasting.
