Additional seating is now available in the simulcast room.
In an effort to accommodate as many guests as possible, additional seating is now available in a simulcast room where live video of Temple Grandin’s presentation will be streamed.
If open seats become available in the main event, live stream room attendees will be moved into the main auditorium based on the order of their registration.
All attendees will have the opportunity to meet Temple after her presentation and have books signed. Books will be available for purchase courtesy of Mac's Backs - Books on Coventry.
About the Author:
Temple Grandin is one of the world’s most accomplished and well-known adults with autism. She has a PhD in animal science, is a professor at Colorado State University, and is the author of twelve books, including the national bestsellers Thinking in Pictures and Animals in Translation.
In her new book, Calling All Minds, Grandin delves into the science behind inventions and the ways in which young inventors can think about and understand what it means to tinker, to fiddle, and to innovate. Laced with Grandin’s personal stories and facts that will make young minds soar, the book creates a blueprint for different ways to look at the world. More than a call to action, Grandin gives a call to imagination and shows readers that an open and inquisitive mind is always key.
