Explore the art of digital photography with teaching artist Mark Nowak. This free eight-week workshop series is designed for both beginner and experienced digital photographers.
Participants will learn both the technical and artistic aspects of digital photography including camera controls lighting vantage point frame and creative controls. Mark Nowak is the lead photographer of Image Vision Studios. He has taught beginners photography courses for the Elyria Arts Depot the Lorain County Parks Department and Cuyahoga County Public Library. Prerequisite: Participants should bring their own camera and any other photography equipment needed to take photographs such as instruction manuals tripod lens flash and diffuser. This workshop series is free, but registration is required. Interested participants must be able to attend all eight workshops from June 22 to August 10. At the end of the eight-week series participants will show their finished work at a special photography showcase on Friday, August 17 from 1 to 3 p.m.
