Strongsville Branch Library presents this Introduction to Genealogy event in collaboration with the Hannah Luther Bosworth Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
The Hannah Luther Bosworth Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, in conjunction with the Strongsville Branch Library will be presenting this program: Finding Your Roots. If you are interested in learning how to start your family tree research, join us for this special presentation on the basics of genealogy research.
Our program presenter, Cynthia Ross Kettler, is a Certified Genealogy Consultant for the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. She is a 10-year member of the DAR and has held several positions at her chapter level. She is now serving the State Society as their Membership Chairman and the National Society as Vice-Chairman for Membership of the East Central Division. Genealogy has always been a great interest of hers. In 2013, she was the Ohio’s DAR Volunteer Genealogist of the Year. She has completed 3 Genealogical Educational Programs sponsored by the NSDAR.
After the presentation, there will be time for questions. We will also have some other DAR genealogists on-hand to assist participants with some of their genealogy research throughout the day. Please bring your family history research and a laptop if needed.
