Time for tea, but what to drink?  White, black, green, yellow, oolong...with so many names, flavors and blends, tea culture can seem confusing and complicated. Not to worry!  Tea connoisseur Judi Slack is your guide through the vast world of tea from plant to cup in this 6-week course.  Samples and tastings provided.

9/26 Session 1: Meet Camellia sinensis, or the tea plant
Is it possible for one plant to be the source of hundreds of kinds of teas?  Get an overview of the six tea types- green, yellow, white, black, oolong and dark teas- that come from this single amazing plant.

10/3 Session 2:  Green Teas
Explore a variety of the famous green teas of China and Japan.

10/10 Session 3: Yellow and White Teas

10/17 Session 4: Black Teas

10/24 Session 5: Oolong Teas
Neither black nor green, oolong is a category unto itself in taste, aroma and color.

10/31 Session 6: Dark Teas
