Come to our 4 week series about mental health. Learn about mental health and make some crafts focused on mindfulness and self affirmations.
Ending the Silence
June 5 - Join NAMI Great Cleveland for Ending the Silence. Students will learn about mental health conditions through a brief presentation, short videos, and personal testimony from a young adult who describes their journey to recovery.
Hidden Message Bracelets
June 12 - Using morse code, attendees will create a bracelet that contains a secret message that you can take with you anywhere you go.
Happy Little Paintings
June 19 - Come to the library and paint a happy little portrait! In this program, attendees will paint a small portrait while learning how be present and in the moment.
Junk Your Journal
June 26 - In this program, attendees will start a Junk Journal. Put your feelings, photos, art, or anything else in your journal. Express yourself and create a unique journal.
Materials will be provided at all programs.
Participants may be recorded and/or surveyed to capture program effectiveness. More information can be found here.

The Richmond Heights Branch is the only branch in the Cuyahoga County Public Library system co-located with a school. Opened in August 2021, the branch is connected to the Richmond Heights Upper School, but has its own dedicated entrance, allowing the general public to access the branch seven days a week.
This branch is a Student Success Center and Greater Cleveland Food Bank Kids Cafe location.
