These interactive, immersive programs invite Teens (Ages 14-18) to enter the PODVERSE and begin exploring the nuts and bolts of making a podcast from ideation to scripting, recording, and editing.

All week long, PODCASTEENS participants will be introduced to what goes into making a podcast while learning some tricks of the trade. They will also create and record short audio gems as they lay the foundation for making their podcasts. 

This will combine in-person instruction sessions with time in between for Teens (Ages 14-18) to do their own independent podcast project work.

Participants will be able to share their experiments in podcasting and collaborate with their learning community.

About the branch

The Brecksville Branch is conveniently located across the street from the Brecksville Community Center and the Kids Quarters playground area. In 2006, the branch suffered extensive flood damage that required the building to be closed for nearly six months while repairs were made. The newly remodeled building reopened on January 14, 2007.
