About the author:

Mark J. Sullivan, Ph.D, a noted organization psychologist, motivational speaker, and executive coach is an Ohio State University Fisher College of Business Distinguished Graduate Teaching Professor. Formerly he as been a Chief Talent Officer, a consulting partner, and industry executive with Accenture, APEX/Accelerated Performance Excellence, Battelle, Memorial Institute, Honeywell International, McKinsey & Co., and United Airlines Corporation.

Thrive: When Trouble Visits is based on the timely study of over 50 notable high-achievers, many who have been to hell and back, and on the return trip, have earned some lived wisdom. They include astronauts, CEOs, clergy, university presidents, internment camp survivors, four star generals, media personalities, governors, CIA field operatives, ER doctors, elite athletes, entrepreneurs, cancer survivors, war refugees, a movies star, and a Congresswoman.

Located in Pepper Pike, the Orange Branch offers a cozy fireplace reading area, community meeting spaces and a full service drive-up window. The branch’s interactive children’s area features artwork from the book Aesop’s Fables by the late beloved illustrator Jerry Pinkney.
