Let us work on discovering the vivid stories that make up our lives. Each session of this six-week memoir class includes writing basics, writing exercises, voluntary read-alouds, and homework. We will shake loose all sorts of story ideas, advance our skills, and gain insight by listening to one another's work. This series will cover the topics of food, childhood, learning, body, nature, and work.
Presenter Laura Grace Weldon is a writer, editor, and the author of four books, Portals, Blackbird, Tending, and Free Range Learning. Her articles, essays, and poetry have appeared in a range of commercial and literary publications.
