Join other writers working on their projects at these Write-Ins, where we’ll share experiences, ideas, and accountability – and get some writing done.
What’s that writing project you’ve been thinking about forever? Novel, memoir, essay, article, short story, play, screenplay, poetry? You just haven’t gotten around to it, and this is the month you finally do. Get that first, very rough draft out of your head and onto the page. Give yourself and your writing dream the gift of a month.
Join other writers working on their projects at these Write-Ins, where we’ll share experiences, ideas, and accountability – and get some writing done. Bring your own laptop or use one of the library’s.
Library Write-Ins
Saturday, November 2, 10 a.m. – noon. Pick your project and set your goal. Will it be words per day/week/month, writing time per day/week/month, or something else (like a poem or flash fiction piece per day)? Then we’ll spend the rest of our time writing.
Saturday, November 16, 10 a.m. – noon. Check in on your progress, share your challenges, and then spend the rest of the time writing.
Saturday, November 30, 10 a.m. – noon. Put finishing touches on your project and share celebratory refreshments, compliments of the Friends of the South Euclid-Lyndhurst Branch.

The South Euclid-Lyndhurst Branch is home to the William N. Skirball Writers' Center, a welcoming space for writers for all ages and levels of experience. The Writers' Center offers free access to private writing rooms, laptops, writing workshops and a special collection of materials on the art of writing.
This branch is a Student Success Center and a Greater Cleveland Food Bank Kids Cafe location.
