Meeting Room (70)

Learn about the controls and settings on your digital camera that will help you take better pictures!

Learn both the technical and aesthetic aspects of digital imaging. Whether your digital camera is a $200 point-and-shoot or $1000 D-SLR, this class will begin with must-know basics of digital photography, including ISO settings, shutter and aperture controls, lens selection, common camera features, and their applications.

Instructor Steve Manchook is a local photography enthusiast who has been shooting photos and judging competitions for the past 50 years.

This class is followed with one on Photo Composition on October 15, 2024.  Registration for that class is separate.

The program is made possible by the support of the Friends of the Solon Library.
