Join us for songs and musical activities that integrate music and literacy skills!
Led by board certified music therapists, Rock 'n Read, a 5-week arts-integrated series, is a collection of music and literacy lessons specifically designed for children of all abilities in PreK - 2nd grade with a caregiver. This program is centered around a set of storybooks and features original songs and musical activities that integrate music and literacy skills to improve and support comprehension skills, sequencing skills, new vocabulary, and so much more! Registration required. Please register as a family.

In 1829, Charles Hyde Olmsted promised to donate 500 books from his father’s collection if the residents agreed to change the name of their town from Lenox to Olmsted. They did and the books traveled by oxcart and were housed in individual residents’ homes while being circulated. The “Oxcart Library” is thought to be the first circulating public library in the Western Reserve.
This branch is a Student Success Center and a Greater Cleveland Food Bank Kids Café location.
