Ohio's Big Trees

Learn about some of the largest trees in Ohio and the efforts to preserve them.

Marc DeWerth started Big Trees Ohio as a way to satisfy his passion for old trees. An environmental conservation organization, Big Trees Ohio is comprised of volunteer hikers who look for and strive to document all of Ohio's very large old growth trees. The organization focuses on educating people about big trees and helping those who have them on their property to care for them.
