Join discussions led by the Positive Parenting Program leader from Bright Beginnings to boost your confidence and get tools you need for parenting and school success.

From Bright Beginnings and Triple P Positive Parenting Program, this is the first of two parenting workshops for adults. 

This program provides parents with the tools needed to navigate the complexities of parenting, during the school year and beyond, as well as boosts parents' confidence while helping increase the likelihood of positive outcomes in our children's educational journey.

Positive parenting leads to healthy brain development and school readiness!

This discussion topic provides examples of common forms of disobedience and some reasons why children have difficulty learning to follow instructions. A number of positive parenting strategies are then introduced to help parents develop a personal plan to prevent disobedience, teach their child limits, and also to manage disobedience when necessary.

Adults only, please.

About the branch

The Brecksville Branch is conveniently located across the street from the Brecksville Community Center and the Kids Quarters playground area. In 2006, the branch suffered extensive flood damage that required the building to be closed for nearly six months while repairs were made. The newly remodeled building reopened on January 14, 2007.
