One third of all adults in the U.S. are at risk for kidney disease. That’s like saying one out of every three drivers on a busy highway is at risk. Currently in our state of Ohio, kidney disease is the eighth leading cause of death, and it is the ninth leading cause of death in the U.S.
The National Kidney Foundation wants to educate you on your kidneys, kidney health and risk factors for kidney disease as well as how you can start taking care of your kidneys today! Whether you think you’re at risk, join us to learn about topics that include:
What kidneys do
How to stay healthy and protect your kidneys
How kidney disease impacts people
How COVID-19 affects kidney health
Free giveaways, education and resources will be provided!
