Nany McKay of Sew4Service will talk about the history of knitting. Nancy will teach a small class how to knit fingerless gloves or a washcloth to take home. Supplies provided.
We will begin by talking about the history of knitting and some basic knitting terminology. From there learn to make either a pair of fingerless gloves or a washcloth. You will receive a set of knitting needles and 2 balls of yarn to use during the class and which you may take home. This class is taught by Nancy McKay from Sew4Service. Nancy has many years of teaching and knitting experience, and she will make knitting seem easy to learn.
