What is an art quilt? How do you create art using fabric and thread? Learn about the creative journey of an art quilter and discover a new form of art that is making its way from living rooms into fine art museums!

This program will be presented by quilting artist, Joanna Ellis, whose work will be featured in the Spring Display on the Parma-Powers Branch Gallery Wall. If you haven't been to see us lately, we welcome you to drop in to enjoy our Gallery Wall. We hope that it will brighten your spirits and inspire you to explore your local library and the world at large with greater curiosity, passion, and imagination.

About the branch

Located across from University Hospitals Parma Medical Center and adjacent to city hall, the Parma-Powers Branch offers a full service drive-up window, community meeting spaces and an interactive children’s area featuring artwork by beloved writer/illustrator Rosemary Wells.

This branch is a Student Success Center and a Greater Cleveland Food Bank Kids Café location.
