Meet and learn from local entrepreneurs in our community. This month we welcome Carmita Smiles, owner of Smiles Yoga Wellness and Meditation.

Carmita Smiles is a Yoga Teacher, Reiki Master, Ayurveda Practitioner, and Tai Chi Instructor. She teaches classes and workshops at festivals like Barefoot & Free in Michigan, Kentucky Yoga Festival, and Angel's Animal Sanctuary in Florida. Reconnecting people to their inner light for strength and awareness to tap into their full potential. Her focus is to share the roots and transformation of these practices over time. Thus allowing a deeper understanding of the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits.

About the branch

The Maple Heights Branch serves as the headquarters for Aspire Greater Cleveland, a nonprofit organization that provides free comprehensive adult education services in Cleveland and throughout Cuyahoga County. Pearson Vue testing services are also offered at this location.

The Maple Heights Branch is also home to The Centers for Families and Children’s Debra Ann November Early Learning Center, the first early learning center to be located inside a public library in the State of Ohio.

This branch is a Student Success Center and a Greater Cleveland Food Bank Kids Café location.
