Lissa Marie Redmond, a retired police detective turned novelist, discusses her latest crime thriller, The Murder Book.
Lissa Marie Redmond spent twenty-two years in the Buffalo Police Department, investigating cold cases and helping to catch a serial killer, before she retired to become a writer. Drawing on real-life experience as a detective, Redmond’s first book, A Cold Day In Hell, was described by Publishers Weekly as an "excellent police procedural combined with a psychological thriller.”
Now the Cold Case Investigation series continues with The Murder Book, as detective Lauren Riley wakes up in the hospital certain of two things: she was stabbed and left for dead, and the person who did it was a cop.

The City of South Euclid will conduct a resurfacing project on South Green Road between Mayfield Road and Cedar Road that we anticipate will result in travel delays. The resurfacing project is expected to begin Monday, April 3, 2023, and continue through late fall. During that time, we encourage all visitors to the South Euclid-Lyndhurst Branch of Cuyahoga County Public Library to plan accordingly and allow themselves ample travel time. The South Euclid-Lyndhurst Branch will remain open for normal hours of operation during construction.
