Jewish community in Cuba survived almost complete dissolution after Castro’s revolution, followed by decades of a totalitarian regime perpetrating poverty, deprivation, and strong anti-Israeli attitudes. Then, in recent years these communities suddenly became arguably the most visited and photographed of the world’s Jewish communities.
