Winter Maker Nights: January: Pet Portraits February: Paper Circuits
In the January Pet Portrait class you will be painting a pop portrait of your pet using acrylic paint on canvas. Art supplies will be provided by the Friends of the Orange Branch.
What to bring /prepare For Pet Portraits: 1 8x10 photo of your pet. 8x10 is the ideal size since the canvas is 8x10. If you do not have an 8x10 photo, you can enlarge and print a smaller picture ahead of time using the computers at the library. You will need to have a digital file. Black and white is ideal, but color will also work. As strange as it sounds, you will get the best results with a close-up of your pet’s face.
In February's class you will be using paper circuits to create light up Valentine's Day Cards. We will also demo the Cricut Maker. All supplies provided by the Friends of the Orange Branch Library.
