Colum McCann has been the recipient of international honors such as the National Book Award, the International Dublin Impac Prize, a Chevalier des Arts et Lettres from the French government, the 2010 Best Foreign Novel Award in China, and an Oscar nomination. He co-founded the non-profit global story exchange organization, Narrative 4. Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, he now lives in New York with his wife, Allison, and their three children.
McCann's latest work, Apeirogon, is an epic novel set against the backdrop of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and is rooted in the real-life friendship between two men united by loss.
Each ticket includes a seat at the author’s talk, a copy of Apeirogon, and a donation to the Cuyahoga County Public Library Foundation.
