Six-week memoir class, October 15 to November 19.
Let's work on discovering the vivid stories that make up our lives. Each session of this six-week memoir class includes writing basics, writing exercises, voluntary read-alouds, and homework. We’ll shake loose all sorts of story ideas, advance our skills, and gain insight by listening to one another's work.
You'll also have an opportunity for one of your pieces to be recorded in the studio at the South Euclid-Lyndhurst Branch. The recordings will become part of the library's online collection, with the author's permission.
Laura Grace Weldon is a writer, editor, and the author of three books, Blackbird, Tending and Free Range Learning. Her articles, essays and poetry have appeared in a range of commercial and literary publications.

The City of South Euclid will conduct a resurfacing project on South Green Road between Mayfield Road and Cedar Road that we anticipate will result in travel delays. The resurfacing project is expected to begin Monday, April 3, 2023, and continue through late fall. During that time, we encourage all visitors to the South Euclid-Lyndhurst Branch of Cuyahoga County Public Library to plan accordingly and allow themselves ample travel time. The South Euclid-Lyndhurst Branch will remain open for normal hours of operation during construction.
