Grady Hendrix is a novelist and screenwriter known for books such as My Best Friend’s Exorcism, which caused The Wall Street Journal to call him “a national treasure”, and Horrorstör, a novel about a haunted IKEA. His writing has appeared everywhere from The Mad Scientist’s Guide to World Domination to Playboy, and he's received critical praise from NPR, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, the A.V. Club, Paste, Buzzfeed, and more.
His latest novel, The Southern Bookclub's Guide to Slaying Vampires, is described as Fried Green Tomatoes and Steel Magnolias meet Dracula in a horror novel set in 1990s suburban Charleston.
