Fiction writers new to the workshop experience will learn how to give and receive comments on your and others' writing in a group setting.
Fiction writers new to the workshop experience will learn how to give and receive comments on your and others' writing in a group setting. We will workshop everyone's writing whether from a previously written work or in-class writing prompts. Workshop attendees are expected to have an email account and to complete reading and writing assignments between monthly meetings. It's important to the workshop process that we create a community of writers who know and trust each other, so please commit to attending at least five out of the six classes. Space is limited and registration is required.
Instructor Sarah Willis was a 2014 Creative Workforce Fellow and has published four novels. Her first, Some Things That Stay, was a New York Times Notable Book of the Year, won a Cleveland Arts Prize, and was made into a movie.

The City of South Euclid will conduct a resurfacing project on South Green Road between Mayfield Road and Cedar Road that we anticipate will result in travel delays. The resurfacing project is expected to begin Monday, April 3, 2023, and continue through late fall. During that time, we encourage all visitors to the South Euclid-Lyndhurst Branch of Cuyahoga County Public Library to plan accordingly and allow themselves ample travel time. The South Euclid-Lyndhurst Branch will remain open for normal hours of operation during construction.
