Join us for a lively and thoughtful discussion of The Night Watchman by Louise Erdrich.

“Based on the extraordinary life of National Book Award-winning author Louise Erdrich’s grandfather who worked as a night watchman and carried the fight against Native dispossession from rural North Dakota all the way to Washington, D.C., this powerful novel explores themes of love and death with lightness and gravity and unfolds with the elegant prose, sly humor, and depth of feeling of a master craftsman.”

This program will be held virtually using Zoom, no download is required.

6:45 – 7:00 – Facilitators will be available for optional setup and technical assistance
7:00 – 8:00 – Book Discussion

Registration and an email address are required to receive the link to participate. A meeting link will be emailed to registered participants approximately one hour prior to the start of the program. You will need a device with audio and/or video with an internet connection to join.

In preparation for the discussion we recommend you read Fighting and Winning With Louise Erdrich by Tommy Orange

New to Zoom? You are invited to a meet and greet practice session on Wednesday, November 11 at 7pm.  An email with the link will be sent to you an hour before.
