Inviting seasoned and first-time poets and flash fiction writers to a special after-hours open mic on Friday the 13th. #readwritepoetry
Join Friday the 13th Poets for a special after-hours “No Fear!” open mic hosted by founder Steve FitzGerald on Friday the 13th of April. We welcome seasoned and emerging poets, especially those who have never read publicly before. Just do it – we promise you’ll survive. Friday the 13th? Ha! We’re poets. No Fear!
Please register. If you’d like to read, please check the "Yes, I want to read!" box. You may also sign up in-person for open mic starting at 6:30 p.m., when doors open. Each writer has up to five minutes to read one or more pieces of original poetry or flash fiction. If there’s time and interest, we’ll do a second round of five-minute readings after a short break for refreshments.

The City of South Euclid will conduct a resurfacing project on South Green Road between Mayfield Road and Cedar Road that we anticipate will result in travel delays. The resurfacing project is expected to begin Monday, April 3, 2023, and continue through late fall. During that time, we encourage all visitors to the South Euclid-Lyndhurst Branch of Cuyahoga County Public Library to plan accordingly and allow themselves ample travel time. The South Euclid-Lyndhurst Branch will remain open for normal hours of operation during construction.
