This event will be held virtually on Zoom.
Learn how Hip Hop began, the four elements that comprise the genre, as well as iconic individuals who had an impact on its creation. Activities will include listening to and analyzing specific styles, lyric writing as well as watching videos to further understand the history and evolution of Hip Hop.
A meeting link will be emailed to registered participants approximately one hour prior to the start of the program. Staff will be available for help with connecting to Zoom and technical issues beginning 15 minutes prior to the program. You will need a device with audio and/or video and an internet connection to join.
This program is intended for students 4th - 6th grade.
