How to Read to a Grandma or Grandpa        Becoming Grandma        Grandmother School

Celebrate the importance of grandparents and grand-friends and all they do for the children they love.  The fourth annual festival is an opportunity to connect without attending group programs.  The Festival in a Bag is full of fun things to do together in person, on the telephone or via video conferencing.

  • Pick up a Festival in a Bag full of activities for grandparents and grandkids.
  • Take selfie portraits with a Grandparents Day backdrop.
  • Enter a drawing for prize baskets.

Bags are available at library Information Desks and at the drive-up window.  Bags are first come, first serve and cannot be reserved.

Come to the Children's Room to take pictures of children, grandparents or family groups in front of the Grandparents Day backdrop.  Share your pictures with family, or use one to make a Grandparents Day card using the picture frame card in the festival bag.

Every grandparent is eligible for one entry into a drawing for a basket of prizes to celebrate grandparenting.  To enter, email the grandparent’s name, a telephone number and an email address to [email protected]; or call the Children’s Room at 440-885-5362.  Baskets must be picked up at Parma Branch library.  Entries accepted from September 4th to 30th.

Sponsored by the Friends of Parma Libraries, Midwest Tape and Cuyahoga County Public Library.
