This event will be held virtually on Zoom.
The term “Quantum Mechanics” seems like one of those things that the writers on “Star Trek” came up with to conveniently explain away a troublesome plot hole. In reality, Quantum Mechanics is a unique way of looking at the world that allows us to make some shocking revelations about how the Universe “really works.” Join us for a presentation by physicists Don and Diana Driscoll where you will learn about Quantum Mechanics in the context of popular science fiction films and television shows. A Q&A will follow the presentation.
