A two-part genealogy series held at the Strongsville Branch Library.
Have you ever wanted to start looking into your family or local history but haven't known where to start? In the first week, we will do a "Genealogy 101" where we go over what the library has to offer genealogy beginner researchers like you! We will go over other beneficial websites for genealogy research as well. Participants will leave this first class with "homework" to start delving into their family histories using what we went over in class! As a result, in our second class, we will create a "Memory Box" using print-offs, ephemera, and embellishments to create a one-of-a-kind shadow box that means something to you! Only 30 spots are available for this class. If you sign-up and cannot make it, please cancel your registration or call the branch for assistance so someone else can join. Participants must attend the first class in order to participate in the second.
Registration will begin on July 2nd at 9:00 a.m. Register here or call (440) 238-5530.
